Rarely do I join in on blog contests, or “blog-hops” where bloggers get together around a specific theme. Several timesArtistcoveries has been nominated for various blog awards, and I’ve made it a point to decline these and keep the blog “award-free”. It’s not that I’m not a social blogger. I love browsing the “blogosphere”, finding new blogs to follow, and making new friends along the way. It’s just that my purpose in blogging is to focus on art, and to share my personal experience as I follow this unexpected pathway in my life, somehow becoming an artist late in life.
