      • The basis of Catholic faith is not only BIBLE but also HOLY TRADITIONS of the Church. stations 6 & 13 as asked by JOSEPH is based on traditions of the Church. A catholic can believe it as his mother the HOLY CHURCH proclims it to be true.

The author of way of the cross in malayalam is Rev.fr.Abel CMI. Many other way of the crosses are also there authored by different persons in different languages.

Way of the cross is a PIETY(Bhakthi Abhyasam).

Many saints have become saints by meditating upon the Passion of christ and by living according to it. Way of the cross helps us for the same. Way of the cross is a spiritual aid. the church recommends it ,but not as much as HOLY QURBANA & HOLY BIBLE

        God bless !

  1. മാസാദ്യവെള്ളിയാഴ്ചകളിൽ പടിക്കുന്ന പ്രാർത്ഥനകൾ വേണം.

  2. It is very useful for me as I am away from India where there is no stations of the cross is done. Even if it is there, it is German which I did not understand. I also forgot to get my prayer book. Thank you very much for this prayers.

  3. Thank you very much Mr. Nelson, I made copies of this.

For those who find many of the stations not in the Bible…God just did not stop dealing with us after the Gospel was supposedly completed but continued to speak to us and that which early church fathers included into our TRADITIONS were a sign of the Holy Spirit’s indulgence in the latter period. These traditions traveled through time and space, mingling with the diverse population taking a character of the place. This I believe will give rise to every hue of the rainbow of what ‘FAITH’ in generic terms means. But the God of the Bible is a democratic God (He lets rain and shine on the good and the bad) He is an accepting God, slow to anger. So if you find it not in the Bible then stand firm in your belief and if your *conscience* is proved true in God’s eyes then when you stand in front of Him He will accept you too.
What the Catholic Church teaches is TRUE because it is led by the same Holy Spirit which was leading it during its earlier days.
    Thanks for reading
