A slice of pumpkin pie? What does she mean? Well… I thought I should introduce myself.

I am Ishtar and I am currently on a journey to become a neurosurgeon. Yes, I am a Catholic 3rd year medical (MD) student from the UK. I thought it would be a good idea to allow my writing to flourish amongst this community. I am a nature enthusiast and enjoy a variety of things, ranging from silence to gardening. Cucurbita, Cacti and fruit trees are something I cherish. Figs are my favourite fruit. My favourite saint and someone I love a lot is St. Anthony of Padua. Using nature and its fullness is something that I combine into my lifestyle to pamper myself and relax. Being a medical student is quite stressful at times, especially when the work load exceeds expectations. Hence you may find that particular days I do not post or some days I post a lot more than usual.

• Novel– I am writing a particular novel which, I will publish as a series most likely everyday depending on my schedule.
