The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Oh, Virgin Mary My mother, please accept my recitation of the Rosary as an expression of my filial devotion towards you, may it be to me an incentive to purity and an encouragement to walk joyfully along the path to faithful devotion to duty. Pray for me that my contemplation of the life of Jesus may create in my soul, little by little the spirit of Jesus till it penetrates my whole being.

So will I become Christ in the world of today. So too shall I be able to pray while I work by an interior attentiveness to the presence of Jesus within me and a loving responsiveness to his still small voice. I ask all this, O Queen of the Rosary, through the intercession of St. Dominic, that tireless preacher of Christ and your faithful and devoted son. Amen

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, He rose again; He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there, He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father in Heaven

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

The Hail Mary (3)

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Glory be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, the world without end. Amen.

1. The Annunciation of Gabriel to Mary (Luke 1:26-38)

Let us contemplate in this mystery how the angel Gabriel saluted our blessed lady with the title “full of grace” and declared to her the incarnation of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

2. The Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth (Luke 1:39-56)

Let us contemplate in this mystery, how the blessed virgin Mary, understanding from the angel that her cousin Saint Elizabeth had conceived, went with haste into the mountains of Judea to visit her and remained with her three months.

Let us contemplate in this mystery how the blessed virgin Mary, when the time of her delivery had come, brought forth our redeemer Jesus Christ at midnight and laid him in a manger because there was no room for him in the inn at Bethlehem.

Let us contemplate in this mystery how the blessed virgin Mary, on the days of her purification, presented the child Jesus in the temple where holy Simeon, giving thanks to God with devotion, received him into his arms.

Let us contemplate in this mystery how the blessed virgin Mary, after having lost her beloved son, sought Him for three days and at last found him in the temple in the midst of the doctors.

Let us contemplate in this mystery how those cruel ministers of Satan plaited a crown of sharp thorns and most cruelly pressed it on the sacred head of our lord Jesus Christ.

Let us contemplate in this mystery how the glorious virgin, many years after the resurrection of her son, passed out of this world to him and was by him taken bodily into heaven, accompanied by the holy angels.

5. The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth

Let us contemplate in this mystery how the glorious virgin Mary was, to the great jubilee and exaltation of the whole court of heaven, crowned by her son with the brightest diadem of glory, and how the saints rejoiced with her in bliss.

1. The Baptism of Our Lord in the River Jordan (Matthew 3:13-16)

Let us contemplate on the baptism of Jesus at the river Jordan. Heavens were opened and the Holy Spirit came down upon him. It was a sign for John to know who was the one that would baptize in the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus anointed us also with the Holy Spirit.

2. The Wedding at Cana, when Christ manifested Himself (John 2:1-11)

Let us contemplate on the miracle Jesus performed at the request of his mother to save the couple from great embarrassment. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving us your blessed mother to be our mother and intercessor.

3. The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14-15)

Let us contemplate on the word of God revealed by Jesus in his life. Lord Jesus as we contemplate your eternal word, give us the grace to be witness of your kingdom.

4. The Transfiguration of Our Lord (Matthew 17:1-8)

Let us contemplate on this mystery where Jesus took the disciples to the top of the mountain and revealed himself. Lord Jesus give all of us a deeper personal experience of you to see, to hear, to touch, and thus to be made strong for the days to come.

5. The Last Supper and the Institution of the Holy Eucharist (Matthew 26)

The greatest love a person could have for his friends is to give his life for them. Let us contemplate on the great love of Jesus when he gave his body and blood to be food for us. Jesus, my life and my strength, you did not keep back anything from me, but completely gave yourself for love of me. Help me also to give myself in the service of the other.

The Hail Holy Queen

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! our life, our sweetness, and our hope! Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen
