Heavenly Father, Lord of time and eternity, at the close of this year I come before You in humble gratitude and adoration. You have been my rock in trials, my light in confusion, and my consolation in sorrow. For every grace seen and unseen, for blessings remembered and forgotten, I thank You with all my heart.​

I praise You for the gift of life, for faith and the sacraments, for the Church that nourishes me with Your Word and the Bread of Life. Thank You for the forgiveness of my sins and for the countless times You have lifted me up when I fell. Thank You for family, friends, and all those through whom Your love has touched me this year. Thank You for the crosses permitted, through which You have purified and strengthened my soul.​

Lord Jesus, I place before You this entire year: my successes and failures, joys and tears, fidelity and infidelity. Purify what was selfish, heal what was wounded, and complete in Your mercy whatever I left unfinished. Holy Spirit, Spirit of wisdom and love, teach my heart to remember this year with gratitude and to enter the coming year with trustful surrender.​

Mother Mary, Star of the Sea at the turn of the year, take my hand and lead me closer to Your Son. With all the angels and saints I cry out: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His mercy endures forever.” Amen.
