വൈരുദ്ധ്യങ്ങളുടെ പ്രഭുകുമാരൻ പാദുവായിലെ വിശുദ്ധ അന്തോണീസ് എന്നാണ് എല്ലാരും വിളിക്കുന്നെ. പക്ഷെ പാദുവയിലല്ല ഈ വിശുദ്ധൻ ജനിച്ചത്‌ . 1195ൽ പോർച്ചുഗലിലെ ലിസ്ബണിൽ, ബുൾഹോം പ്രഭുകുടുംബത്തിലെ ഏക അവകാശിയായി ജനിച്ചു. അന്തോണീസ് എന്നല്ലായിരുന്നു 26 വയസ്സ് വരെ പേര് . മാമോദീസാപ്പേരായ ഫെർണാണ്ടോ എന്നായിരുന്നു എല്ലാവരും വിളിച്ചിരുന്നത്‌ . 1221ൽ ഫ്രാൻസിസ്കൻ സഭാവസ്ത്രം സ്വീകരിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് ഈജിപ്തിലെ വിശുദ്ധ അന്തോണീസിന്റെ പേര് സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൊക്കെ കാപ്പിപ്പൊടി ഉടുപ്പും ഫ്രാന്സിസ്കൻസിന്റെ അരയിലെ കെട്ടും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും പതിനഞ്ചാം വയസ്സിൽ പുരോഹിതനാവാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചപ്പോൾ … Continue reading പാദുവായിലെ വിശുദ്ധ അന്തോണീസ് / അന്തോനീസ്: വൈരുദ്ധ്യങ്ങളുടെ പ്രഭുകുമാരൻ
