It is a wonderful religious poetical piece of literature in Malayalam. It is written by a German Jesuit Priest Johann Ernst, in Kerala he is “Arnos Pathiri”. Probably this is written and composed in the years between 1721 – 1732. It has got 14 “Padams”. Each one has its vibes of Jesus’ life. The 12th Padam is the most important one…this is mainly sung in the (12th) Holy Week.
