Appa,

Where are you? I know you are out there somewhere, perhaps nowhere. One fine morning by the time I woke up, you were gone. You didn’t even stay to say good bye, you just disappeared. The 17 year old me wanted to go down the alley in pursuit of you. But the reality that you won’t be coming back, hit me so hard, faster than the recoil of a gun. I got so paralysed that even my tear drops refused to roll down.

Today when I look back, I only see a glimpse of you. I can’t figure out where our memories have gone, has it disappeared along with you, or is it because we never had a good time together. It’s not your fault, you were always out of town, busy with your work. I remember those days when I used to wake up early in the morning…
