I renew my promises made in baptism, and from the moment I give myself entirely to Thy love and service. I beg Thy blessing on these my resolutions, for O Lord, without Thee I am nothing but misery and sin. Supply also by Thy mercy what so ever defects have been in this my confession, and give me grace to, be now and always, a true penitent. Through Jesus Christ Thy Son. Amen. Mary, Mother of God, be a Mother to me

Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, run through my veins Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me Passion of Christ, strengthen me O good Jesus, hear me Within Thy wounds hide me, Let me not to be separated from Thee From the evil enemy defend me At the hour of death call me And bid me come to thee That with thy saints, I may Praise thee For all eternity. Prayer Before The Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself on my knees in thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul, I pray and beseech thee, that Thou would impress upon my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity. With true repentance for my sins and a firm desire of amendment, while with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally con- template Thy five most precious wounds having before my eyes that which David the prophet spoke of thee, O Good Jesus. They have pierced my hands and my feet, they have numbered all my bones. Say One Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be

Radiating Christ

Dear Jesus help me to spread your fragrance everywhere I go. Fill my soul with your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess my Whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of yours. Shine through me, and be so in me, that every soul I come in contact with may feel your presence in my soul. Let them lookup and see no longer me, but only Jesus. Stay with me, and then I shall begin to shine as You shine, to be a light to others. The Light, O Jesus will all be from you. None of it will be mine: it will be you shining on others through me, let me thus praise you in the way you love best, by shining on those around me. Let me preach you without preaching, not by words, but my example by the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what I do, -the evident fullness of the love my heart bears to you. Amen.

Imitating Christ

Teach me, my Lord, to be serene and gentle in all the events of my life, in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others. In the insincerity of those I trusted, in all the unfaithfulness of those on whom I relied. Let me put myself aside, to think of the happiness of others; to hide my little pains and heartaches, so that I may be the only one to suffer from them. Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path, let me so use it, that it may make me patient, not irritable, that it may make me broad in my forgiveness, not narrow, haughty and Overbearing. May no one be less good for having come within my influence no one less pure, less true, less kind, less noble having been a fellow traveller on our journey towards eternal life. Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us I humbly prostrate before Thy altar. We are thine and thine we wish to be; but to be more surely united with thee, behold each one of us freely consecrates himself today to thy most Sacred Heart. Many indeed have never known thee; many too, despising thy precepts, have rejected thee. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to thy Sacred Heart. Be thou King, 0 Lord, not only of the faithful who have never Forsaken thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned thee; grant that they may quickly return to their Father ’s house, lest they die of wretchedness and hunger. Be thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions or whom discord keeps aloof, and call them back to the, harbour of truth and unity of faith, so that soon there may be but One flock and one Shepherd. Grant, O Lord, to thy Church assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry : “Praise to the Divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honor for ever. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Most Glorious Prince of the Heavenly Armies, ‘St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in our battle against principalities and powers against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places(Eph. 6: 12) Come to the assistance of men whom God has created to his likeness and whom he has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Holy Church venerates thee as her guardian and protector. To thee the Lord has entrusted the soul of the redeemed to be led into heaven. Pray therefore, the God of Peace to crush satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive and do injury to the Church. Offer our prayers to the Most High that without delay, they may draw his mercy down up on us, Take hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan. Bind him and cast him into the bottomless pit so that he may no longer seduce the nations. (Acts -20:2)St. Michael’ the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle, be our safeguard against, the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou prince of heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell, satan and all other evil spirits who roam throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Prayer of Exorcism

In the name of Jesus Christ, our God and Lord, strengthened by the intercession of the immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, blessed Michael and Archangel, of the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul and all the saints, we confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of the devil. (Psalm 67) God arises, his enemies are scattered and those who hate him flee before him as smoke is driven away so are they driven, as wax melts before the fires, so the wicked perish at the presence of God. v. Behold the Cross or the Lord, Flee band of enemies He has conquered, the lion of the tribe. of Judah, the offspring Of David V. May Thy mercy, Lord, descend upon us, R. As our great hope in thee. (The crosses indicate a blessing to ‘be given if a Priest recites ‘the Exorcism. a lay person recites it he may make the sign ‘of the Cross.) We drive you from us, whoever you may be unclean spirits, all satanic powers, all infernal invaders, all wicked legions, assemblies and sects; in the name and by the Power of our Lord Jesus Christ, may you be snatched away and driven from the Church of God and from the souls made to the image and likeness of God and redeemed by the Precious Blood of the Divine Lamb. Most cunning serpent, you shall no more dare to deceive the human race, persecute the Church, torment God’s elect and sift them as wheat. The Most High God commands you, He with whom, in your great insolence, you still claim to be equal,” He who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1Tim – 2:4) God the Father commands you + God the Son commands you + God the Holy Spirit commands you +.Christ, God’s word made flesh, commands you + He who save our race outdone through your envy, Humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death”(Phil. 2: 8) He who has built His Church on the firm rock and declared that gates of hell shall not prevail against her, because he will dwell with her All days even to the End of the world (Mt. 28:20). The sacred signs of the cross commands you as does also the power of the mysteries of the Christian faith +The Glorious Mother of God, the virgin Mary, commands you, +. She who by her humility and from the first moment of her Immaculate Conception, crushed your proud head. The faith of the Apostles Peter and Paul and of the other Apostles commands you + The Blood of the Martyrs and the pious intercession of all the Saints command you + thus, cursed dragon and you, diabolical legions, we adjure you by the living God + By the true God +by the Holy God, + by the God who so loved the world that he gave up his only Son, that every soul believing in him might not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3: 1.6). Stop deceiving human creatures and pouring out on them the poison of eternal damnation; stop harming the Church and hindering her liberty. Be gone satan, inventor and master of all deceit, enemy of man’s’ salvation. Give place to Christ in whom you have found none of your works; give place to the one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church acquired by Christ at the price of His Blood. Tremble and flee when we invoke the Holy and terrible Name of Jesus, this Name which causes hell to tremble, this Name to which the virtues, powers and dominations of heaven are humbly submissive, this Name to which Cherubim and Seraphim praise unceasingly Repeating; Holy; Holy, Holy. is the Lord, the God of Armies V. O Lord, hear my prayer. R. And let my cry come unto thee. V. May the Lord be with Thee. R. And With thy Spirit. Let us pray God of heaven, God of earth, God of Angels, God of Archangels, God of Patriarchs, God of Prophets, God of Apostles, God of Martyrs, God of Confessors, God of Virgins, God who has the power to give life after death and rest after work because there is no other God than Thee and there can be no other, for Thou art the creator of all things, visible and invisible, of whose reign there shall be no end, we humbly prostrate ourselves before thy glorious majesty we beseech thee to deliver us by the power from all the tyranny of the infernal spirits, from their snares, their lies and their furious wickedness; deign O Lord to grant us thy powerful protection and to keep us safe and sound “we beseech thee through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. From the snares of the devil, deliver us, O Lord, that thy Church may serve thee in peace and liberty; we beseech thee to hear us. That thou may crush down all enemies of thy church. We beseech Thee to hear us.

The way of the Cross

The Sign of the Cross In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen Opening Prayer Almighty, ever living God, you have given the human race Jesus Christ our savior as a model of humility. He fulfilled your will by becoming man and giving his life on the cross. Help us to bear witness to you by following his example of suffering make us worthy to share in his resurrection. We ask this through our lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

The First Station: Jesus is Condemned to Death

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise you Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the whole world Behold the Lord. Arrested because of envy & falsely condemned because of fear, Jesus is accused of stirring up a revolt. Ironically, this description fits Barabbas, who is released instead Of Christ. Humbly the Son of God accepts what His Father has permitted, order that all that had been foretold of Him would come to pass Friends, let us reject envy, avarice and the desire for any other Gain that is not meant for us. God knows our needs and those of Our neighbor. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord + Have mercy on us. May the- souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen

The second Station: Jesus Bears His Cross.

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Recognizing the way set before Him, the way of the cross, there is no demand by the Anointed One for His rights, Instead, He picks up the cross and begins His journey. Hidden but recognized by Jesus in all of this is God’s will. He is dedicated to it. Jesus knows that human life is limited in many ways, and He accepts it from His Father with love. Our lives are really very simple, but its meaning deep. Through the grace of God we can fulfill our everyday work and through this glorify our creator Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord + Have mercy on us. May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen

The Third Station: Jesus Falls the First time.

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You, Because by your Holy Cross. You have redeemed the world. The road is hard and carrying a cross is not an easy thing. The Lord falls as He goes along. As difficult as it is He gets up and resolutely begins again. Detachment is necessary to free us from all worldliness and anxiety. Self-denia1 frees us to follow God. The Lord Himself has given us an example. Sisters and Brothers, we should put aside everything that does not help us to follow the call of God Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Fourth station: Jesus Meets His Mother

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Jesus was not the only one who suffered the cross that day Mary, His mother was there and shared it in another way. The most intense trial of her life must have weakened her. But now, seeing His face, she sees more than only His pain. She detects His resolve, His utter fearlessness. She is strengthened by it. Courage is required to persevere in faithfulness to God. It is not willpower of our own. Amid trials and temptations to “take it easy” We need to cling to Him and the gift is He. . Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace Amen.

The Fifth Station: Simon-Helps Jesus Carry His Cross.

We adore You, 0 Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. The soldiers enlisted the help of a man coming along to carry the heavy wood. Mercifully there was someone to help We do not know the heart of Simon. We only know the heart of God who provided him. Fellow lovers of God, let us put on the clothes of mercy, generosity, compassion and service to others. The Lord is present there. Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen

The Sixth station: Veronica wipes the Face of Jesus

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the whole world. When Veronica wiped Jesus face his image was left upon the cloth. That image was of the eternal God. Single minded devotion to God lead us into the way of all truth. Then shall we see God. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Seventh Station: Jesus Falls the Second Time.

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world. Falling again, Jesus heard the jeering and felt the prodding of the men trying to move Him along. When He rose to go on again, it was not because these people compelled Instead He was spurred on His own desire to redeem them, to bring them back into His friendship. Salvific love is the gift and privilege we enjoy as Christians. The sincere love of enemies is what Christ’s mission is about. Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Eighth Station: Jesus Consoles the Women of Jerusalem

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Seeing some women on the way who were in great sorrow because of Him, the Lord said, “Do not weep for me . . . but for your children. Though Jesus work was just ending these women’s was beginning. Great diligence is required for those who wish to share in God’s saving work. The mind must keep to the task. But these poor in spirit will be blessed if they persevere. And there ward for them and those for whom they play is no less than the kingdom of God Our Father, Hail Mary. Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Ninth Station: Jesus Falls the Third Time.

We adore You, O Christ; and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the whole world. Jesus, nearing the place of his execution fell yet again. Now He was at His weakest and at the threshold of Calvary, Beneath the dirt and sweat and blood that covered was the most incredible meekness, ad meekness that could not find_fau1t with His Father’s plan. He arose again to gain the promise of the covenant. We are members of Christ’s Body – the Church. Like Abraham who was promised the land, Jesus promises us: “And whoever perseveres to the end shall be saved.” Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The tenth station: Jesus is stripped of his cloths

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the whole world. Now the Lord’s clothes are wrenched off of him. All that remains is the flesh which He took on in order to be one of us. All earthly things have been deprived Him, even clothes, food or emotional support. Jesus told us that worldly are fools: “…to whom will all these things go? (Lk 12:16-21)”. “Comfort belongs to those who take” nothing with them in spirit. (1 Cor 7:31-32)” Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Eleventh Station: Jesus is Nailed to the Cross.

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Blood flowed profusely as Jesus was fastened to the wood that He had carried. Nails were driven completely through Him. It was even more acute because of His highly sensitive nature. The perfection of God’s mercy to us here cannot be articulated or imagined Brothers and sisters in Christ Mercy is something that we are called to. We have received it from the Lord but it is perfected in us by our own willingness to pour ourselves out for others. Remember Mary Magdalene as she washed the feet of Jesus with her tears. The Lord said: “I tell you, her sins, many as they are will be forgiven her because she has loved much.” Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through, the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Twelfth Station: Jesus Dies on the Cross.

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by’ your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Pure in heart, the Lord Jesus persevered in showing all the goodness of God till His death. Then His side was pierced, and out flowed blood and water. In life, charity leads to continuing conversion. The purity of a person is interior. Grace and mercy flow from there. And God becomes known. Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Thirteenth Station: Jesus is Taken Down from the Cross.

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Consider how Jesus’s body, after merciless treatment and final piercing was removed from the instrument of His death. Only the holy relic that once held the person of the Son of God remained; St. Paul was.to tell us that our bodies, like His, are holy, – temples of the Holy Spirit – and that we must not use them for any of banal Purpose. Let us then resolve to renounce all selfishness, which makes us unhealthy, hurts our relationships with others and keeps us from knowing the God for whom we are made, Then we will be called Peacemakers and the Sons of God (Mt. 5:9) Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

The Fourteenth Station: Jesus is Laid in the Tomb

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You Because by your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world. His body now laid in a tomb. Jesus looked defeated; What had I been gained? Even His closest friends had had their doubts. But since His life was the gift He gave, the reverse of all appearances turn out to be true. Christ continues His work through others, till the Good News reaches the very ends of the earth. He rose from his own death. We are witnesses of this. And all heaven now awaits the glorious revealing of the sons of God! Our Father; Hail Mary, Glory Be Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
