Wrapping Decorations

Something I observed and learned from my grandma was covering paintings to match the season. If you have paintings hanging up in your house, and you don’t necessarily have something to switch them out with when switching up your decorations, covering them may be the way to go.

I usually do this around Christmas time, to cover up any summer themed paintings, to go with all the holiday decorations. The easiest thing I find to do, is find a pretty wrapping paper, flip the canvas face down on the wrapping paper, trim the paper and tape it to the back of the frame. Then it is ready to be hung back up with a new look!

Another similar method would be using tissue paper. Depending on the content of the painting, you may need a few sheets/layers of tissue paper to make sure the paintings picture doesn’t come through. Use…
