Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Common Opening Prayer (to be prayed each day)
Heavenly Father, Author of all life, we come before You with grateful and trusting hearts.
You formed us in Your image and called us to share in Your gift of love through family life.
Through the intercession of Saints Joachim and Ann, who patiently awaited the gift of a child,
and through the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph of the Holy Family,
look kindly on us as we long for the blessing of new life.
Remember, O Lord, how You heard the cries of Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Hannah, Elizabeth,
and all Your faithful servants who awaited a child in hope.
May their example teach us perseverance and confidence in Your loving plan.
If it is Your will, grant us the precious gift of a child,
that our home may reflect the joy and holiness of Nazareth,
and that we may raise this child to know, love, and serve You.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.

Concluding Prayer (for each day)
Loving Father,
we thank You for hearing our prayer today.
Through the intercession of Saints Joachim and Ann,
together with the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph of the Holy Family,
we place all our hopes and fears into Your hands.
Teach us to wait with trust, as Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Hannah, Elizabeth,
and all Your faithful servants once did.
Whether in joy or in longing, may our hearts remain fixed on You.
Bless our marriage with Your peace,
and if it be Your holy will, grant us the gift of a child,
that we may raise new life for Your glory and the good of Your Church.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Final Concluding Prayer (After 9th Day)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate! despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
Loving Father, You who granted Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Hannah, Elizabeth, and the Blessed Virgin Mary the grace of motherhood, hear our prayer through Saints Joachim and Ann, together with St. Joseph and Mary of Nazareth. If it be Your will, bless us with the gift of a child, that our home may echo the joy of the Holy Family and proclaim Your goodness forever. Amen.
