Thursday of the Thirty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time, November 26

We Should View the Wondrous and Glorious Event of Our Lord’s Second Coming and His Final Judgment as a Sign of Ultimate Hope for Those of Us Who Have Placed Our Trust in His Love and Mercy.

In our First Reading today from the Book of Revelation, we read, “Salvation, glory, and might belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments.” – words spoken by a great multitude in Heaven expressing awe and wonderment at God’s Justice in removing evil from the face of the earth!

Then we hear an angel in Heaven proclaim, “Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” – an invitation which God extends to His faithful children to be one with Him forever!
