MCBS Announces Ordination Schedule for 2025–26 Batch of Deacons

The Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament (MCBS) has announced that the Ordinations of the 2025–26 batch of deacons will begin on 26 December 2025. A total of 18 deacons will be ordained to the priesthood this year.

According to the congregation, 16 of the deacons are from Kerala, while two hail from the North-Eastern region of India, reflecting the growing diversity and missionary outreach of the MCBS.

The Ordination ceremonies and the First Holy Qurbanas will take place in various parishes and communities over the following weeks. The final Ordination and First Mass in the series is scheduled for 12 January 2026.

The congregation has invited the faithful to keep the ordinandi in their prayers as they prepare to begin their priestly ministry.
