I asked God for flowers,
but He gave me rain.
What I didn’t realize
is that the rain was part of the answer.
We often pray for the outcome,
but God moves through the process.
We ask for joy.
He builds resilience.
We ask for love.
He shapes our hearts.
We ask for blessings.
He develops our character so we can carry them well.
Rain feels inconvenient.
Uncomfortable.
Unfair.
But every garden you admire
once endured a storm.
So if all you see right now is rain,
trust that heaven is still tending to your garden.
God is watering something
you’ve been praying for.
