7 GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. Wisdom

Helps you see life from God’s view and value Him above all else.

Isaiah 11:2 – “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding.”

2. Understanding

Lets you grasp deep truths of faith and know what God teaches clearly.

Psalm 119:125 – “I am Your servant; give me understanding, that I may know Your testimonies.”

3. Counsel

Gives right judgment and guidance to make good choices, especially in hard times.

Proverbs 11:14 – “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.”

4. Fortitude

Strength and courage to stay firm in faith, do good, and overcome difficulties.

2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

5. Knowledge

Helps you know God’s greatness, understand His creation, and see your place in His plan.

Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

6. Piety

Fills your heart with love, respect, and devotion to God, and treats others like family.

Psalm 103:1 – “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.”

7. Fear of the Lord

Deep awe and reverence for God; you love Him so much you never want to be separated from Him.

Proverbs 9:10 – “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
