English Translation
The Holy Name of Jesus is supremely revered,
For humankind on Earth, this chanting is sufficient.
That glorious, sweet Name,
Is always the salvation for the human race.
Ego and desire will enslave us,
And without realizing it, we will stumble.
To perform our daily deeds
Appropriately,
The Primordial God must fill us from within;
That holy Name must resonate in the soul.
The holy Name granted as a human on Earth,
That holy Name is the shield and the path to the higher world.
The pleased Father gave to His own essence,
His Son, as life—that holy Name,
That holy Name is always the redemption for the sinner.
The embodiment of pure consciousness, the Lord of the universe,
He is beautiful and full of mercy.
For His friends, He descends even to the dust,
And with grace, He gently washes their feet;
He tears open His heart and shares (His life).
At the time when He was forming everything on Earth,
The divine Son stood beside the Master (God the Father).
When He molded me from the dust,
The Savior stood near with careful attention,
The divine Son is the owner of my every breath.
The Master of the world, the destroyer of sin,
He who died on the cross for me, a sinner,
He who nourishes me as sustenance (Pāthēyam)
To connect my earthly journey to the heavenly realm,
