1. Teresa of Ávila – The Saint Who Tested Joseph
Story
Teresa was gravely ill—so weak that she was almost paralyzed. Doctors had no solution. Her body was failing.
In that moment of helplessness, she turned to St. Joseph—not casually, but with total trust.
She later wrote:
“I took for my advocate and lord the glorious St. Joseph…”
And something changed—not instantly, not dramatically—but steadily. Strength returned. But more importantly, her soul became stronger than her body had ever been.
