Be H.O.T. like St. Joseph—Humble, Obedient, and Trustworthy.
In a world that often tells us to be loud, visible, and self-promoting, St. Joseph shows us a different kind of greatness.
He was HUMBLE. He did not seek attention. He did not speak many words.
And yet, his life spoke loudly.
He accepted his role—not as the center, but as the servant of God’s plan. True humility is not thinking less of ourselves, but thinking of ourselves less—and allowing God to take the lead.
He was OBEDIENT. When God spoke to him in dreams, he did not delay. He did not argue. He did not negotiate. He simply obeyed. He took Mary as his wife.
He protected the Child Jesus. He fled to Egypt. He returned home when God called him back.
Obedience, for Joseph, was not weakness—it was strength rooted in faith.
And he was TRUSTWORTHY. God entrusted to him His greatest treasures—Jesus and Mary.
Why? Because Joseph was a man who could be trusted. Trusted in silence.
Trusted in hardship. Trusted in uncertainty. Even when he did not fully understand, he remained faithful.
Brothers and sisters,
To be “HOT” like St. Joseph is not about being noticed by the world, but about being faithful before God.
Humble in our attitude.
Obedient in our response.
Trustworthy in our mission.
If we live this way, we may not be famous—but we will be faithful.
And in the eyes of God, that is what truly matters.
