Day 2 – Mother of Tender Love

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for the gift of Mary, the Mother of Your Son and our Mother. Through her loving intercession as Our Lady of Perpetual Help, You continue to pour out countless blessings upon Your people.

As we gather in prayer today, help us to experience the tenderness of Mary’s maternal care. May her example of faith, obedience, and selfless love inspire us to follow Your will more faithfully and to place our complete trust in Your providence.

Meditation

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

You look upon all your children with eyes filled with compassion and love. No sorrow is hidden from you, no burden too heavy for your motherly heart. You know our struggles, our fears, our weaknesses, and our hopes.

Your Son entrusted us to your care, and you lovingly accept each one of us as your children. You desire to guide us, protect us, and lead us closer to Jesus. In every trial of life, you stand beside us, offering comfort, encouragement, and hope.

Today, we thank you for your constant presence in our lives. We entrust ourselves to your loving care and ask you to teach us to imitate your humility, generosity, and unwavering trust in God.

Prayer for Mothers

Loving Mother of Perpetual Help,

Today we especially ask your intercession for all mothers throughout the world.

Bless them with strength in times of difficulty, patience in moments of trial, and joy in their vocation of love and sacrifice. Protect those who are expecting children, comfort mothers who suffer, support those who raise their families with great dedication, and reward all mothers for their countless acts of selfless love.

May every mother find in you a model of faith, courage, and maternal tenderness. Help them to lead their families closer to Christ and to remain faithful to God’s plan for their lives.

Prayer of Petition

Dear Mother, take all our needs before the throne of your Son. Pray that we may always be attentive to God’s call and willing to serve Him wherever He leads us.

Help us to make Jesus the center of our lives and to seek His will above all else. May our words, actions, and decisions reflect our love for Him and our desire to serve His Kingdom.
