NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP

Day 1 – Mother of Constant Help

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father,
with grateful hearts we come before You today. We praise and thank You for the precious gift of Mary, the Mother of Your Son, whom You have given to us as Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Through her loving care and powerful intercession, countless souls have found comfort in sorrow, strength in weakness, and hope in times of despair.

As we begin this novena, open our hearts to receive the graces You desire to pour upon us. Teach us to trust in Mary’s maternal protection and to follow her example of faith, humility, and complete surrender to Your holy will.

Meditation

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

For generations, your sacred image has inspired confidence in God’s mercy and love. Through your intercession, many have experienced healing, peace, conversion, and countless blessings. You never cease to watch over your children, guiding them gently toward your Son, Jesus.

You know our struggles, our fears, our weaknesses, and our deepest needs. As a loving mother, you never abandon those who seek your help. Today, we place ourselves under your mantle of protection and entrust our lives completely to your care.

Obtain for us the grace to grow in true devotion to you, so that through you we may come to know, love, and serve Jesus more faithfully. Help us to seek your assistance in every need and to remain steadfast in our journey toward eternal life.

Prayer of Petition

Loving Mother, bring before your Son all our prayers and intentions. Intercede for us, for our families, for the Church, and for the whole world.

Today, we especially pray that all people may discover the comfort of your motherly love and grow in devotion to you, so that they may be drawn ever closer to Jesus Christ.

Pray for us, dear Mother, that we may faithfully cooperate with the graces God gives us each day. Help us to persevere in faith, grow in holiness, and remain united with your Son throughout our lives.
