Day 9 – Mother of Perpetual Help, We Entrust Ourselves to You

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father,

With hearts full of gratitude, we come before You on this final day of our novena. We thank You for the gift of Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, whom You have given to us as a loving Mother, faithful guide, and powerful intercessor.

Throughout these days of prayer, You have invited us to draw closer to Your Son through the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We praise You for every grace received, every prayer heard, and every blessing bestowed upon us through her loving intercession.

As we conclude this novena, deepen our faith, strengthen our hope, and increase our love for You.

Meditation

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

You have accompanied us throughout this novena, listening to our prayers, comforting our hearts, and presenting our needs before your Son, Jesus. Like a loving mother, you have never ceased to watch over us and guide us along the path of faith.

Throughout our lives, you have been a source of strength in times of weakness, hope in moments of discouragement, and comfort in hours of sorrow. You continually remind us that we are beloved children of God and that we are never alone.

Today, we come before you with gratitude for all the blessings we have received through your maternal care. We thank you for your constant presence, your unfailing love, and your powerful intercession.

As this novena comes to an end, may our devotion to you not end. Instead, may it continue to grow each day, leading us ever closer to Jesus Christ, your Son and our Savior.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Mother of Perpetual Help,

With grateful hearts we thank you for the countless ways you have interceded for us throughout our lives.

Thank you for your protection in times of danger, your comfort in moments of sorrow, your guidance in times of uncertainty, and your prayers in every need.

We thank you for the blessings we recognize and for those we may never know. We thank you for your loving presence and for continually leading us to Jesus.

May our lives always be a response of gratitude to God’s goodness and mercy.

Prayer of Entrustment

Loving Mother,

Today we entrust ourselves completely to your care.

Take our hearts, our families, our work, our joys, our sufferings, our hopes, and our fears. Protect us from all evil and guide us safely through the challenges of this life.

Help us to remain faithful to Christ and His Church. Teach us to love as you loved, to trust as you trusted, and to serve as you served.

When we are tempted, strengthen us. When we are discouraged, encourage us. When we wander from God’s path, gently lead us back to your Son.

May we always seek your help with confidence and place ourselves under your maternal protection.

Prayer of Petition

Mother of Perpetual Help,

Take all our needs before the throne of your Son. As we conclude this novena, we especially ask that God’s holy will be accomplished in our lives and in all the intentions we have brought before you during these nine days.

Pray that we may persevere in faith, grow in holiness, and remain faithful disciples of Jesus until the end of our lives.

May your maternal protection accompany us in every trial, your prayers strengthen us in every weakness, and your example inspire us to live holy and faithful lives.

Keep us close to Jesus, now and always. And when our earthly pilgrimage is ended, lead us safely into the eternal presence of God, where we may praise and glorify Him forever.

Act of Consecration

O Mother of Perpetual Help,

I consecrate myself to you this day and place under your protection my soul and body, my prayers and works, my joys and sufferings, my life and my death.

Dispose of me and all that belongs to me according to the will of God. Keep me faithful to Jesus throughout my life and obtain for me the grace of final perseverance.

May I always seek your help, trust in your intercession, and follow your example of holiness and love.

O Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me now and at the hour of my death.
