O glorious St. Anthony, beloved servant of God,
gentle helper of those in need, and powerful intercessor before the throne of heaven,
I come before you today with a humble and trusting heart.
You who loved Jesus so deeply,
you who held the Divine Child in your arms,
you who proclaimed the Gospel with courage
and served the poor with tenderness and compassion,
look upon me now with kindness.
St. Anthony, you are known throughout the world as the saint of miracles and the finder of what is lost. Many have turned to you in their moments of helplessness and have experienced your loving intercession. Today, I too place my needs, my worries, my hopes, and my unanswered questions before you.
You know what is hidden in my heart.
You know the burdens that I find difficult to express.
You know my fears about the future,
my regrets about the past,
and the struggles I carry in the present.
Sometimes, Lord, I feel lost.
At times, I lose my peace because of worry.
I lose courage because of failure.
I lose hope when my prayers seem unanswered.
I lose patience when life becomes difficult.
I lose faith when I cannot understand God’s plan.
Dear St. Anthony, help me to find again what I have lost.
If I have lost my faith, lead me back to God.
If I have lost my peace, bring calm to my troubled heart.
If I have lost hope, remind me that nothing is impossible with God.
If I have lost courage, strengthen me to rise again.
If I have lost love, teach me to love as Christ loves.
If I have lost my way, guide my steps toward the path God has prepared for me.
And if there is something in my life that I am searching for—a lost relationship, an opportunity, a direction, an answer, or a precious thing—place my need before the loving heart of God. Help me to search with wisdom, patience, and trust.
But, dear St. Anthony, teach me also to understand that sometimes what I think I have lost may not be what God desires for me to find again. Give me the grace to accept God’s will, even when I do not understand it.
Obtain for me clarity when my mind is confused.
When I stand at a crossroads and do not know which way to turn, pray that the Holy Spirit may guide me.
Obtain for me hope when my heart is discouraged.
When difficulties seem greater than my strength, remind me that God is greater than every difficulty.
Obtain for me peace when anxiety fills my heart.
When I worry about tomorrow, teach me to live in the loving presence of God today.
Help me to surrender the things I cannot control.
Help me to stop carrying burdens that belong in God’s hands.
Help me to trust that even when I cannot see the road ahead, God sees the entire journey.
Dear St. Anthony, you lived with humility. You did not seek your own glory, but only the glory of God. Teach me to be humble in success and patient in failure. Save me from pride, selfishness, jealousy, anger, and bitterness.
Teach me to have a heart that is gentle and compassionate.
May I never ignore the poor, the lonely, the suffering, or those who come to me in need. Help me to become an instrument of God’s love. May my words bring comfort, my actions bring kindness, and my presence bring peace.
When I am tempted to judge others, teach me mercy.
When I find it difficult to forgive, give me the grace to forgive.
When I feel hurt, help me not to become bitter.
When I am disappointed, help me not to lose hope.
When I am weak, remind me that God’s grace is sufficient for me.
Dear St. Anthony, pray also for those whom I carry in my heart.
I place before you my family, my friends, and all those who are dear to me. Remember especially those who are sick, lonely, worried, unemployed, grieving, struggling in their relationships, or silently carrying heavy burdens.
Pray for those who have lost their faith.
Pray for those who have wandered away from God.
Pray for those who are searching for meaning and direction in life.
Bring them closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
And dear St. Anthony, pray especially for me.
When my faith becomes weak, pray for me.
When temptation comes, pray for me.
When I fall into sin, help me to rise again and return to God’s mercy.
When I become discouraged, remind me that God has not abandoned me.
Help me to remember that the greatest treasure I can ever possess is not wealth, success, recognition, or worldly security, but God Himself.
May I seek God above all things.
May I love Jesus more deeply each day.
May I trust the providence of our Heavenly Father.
May I listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
May I remain faithful in moments of joy and in moments of suffering.
Dear St. Anthony, help me to understand that every prayer is heard by God, even when the answer does not come in the way or at the time I expect.
Give me the patience to wait.
Give me the wisdom to understand.
Give me the humility to accept.
And give me the faith to continue trusting.
Walk with me through the uncertain moments of my life.
When the road is dark, be a reminder of God’s light.
When I am afraid, remind me of God’s presence.
When I feel alone, remind me that heaven is near.
When my heart is troubled, lead me to Jesus.
O beloved St. Anthony, faithful friend of the poor, the troubled, and the lost, do not abandon me in my moments of need.
Take my hand and lead me closer to Christ.
Help me to find not only the things I have lost, but also the person God created me to become. Help me to discover my purpose, to use my gifts for the good of others, and to live each day according to God’s holy will.
And when the journey of this earthly life is complete, pray that I may be found faithful and welcomed into the eternal home prepared for those who love God.
St. Anthony, powerful intercessor and beloved saint, pray for me.
Pray for my family.
Pray for those I love.
Pray for all who are searching, suffering, and struggling.
May we never lose our way from God.
And if we do wander, may we always find our way back to His loving embrace.
St. Anthony of Padua,
saint of miracles,
finder of what is lost,
lover of Jesus,
servant of the poor,
and faithful friend of the troubled,
pray for us.
Amen.
