Holy Wednesday Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ,

on this Holy Wednesday,

I remember the sorrow of Your betrayal

and the weight of human sin upon Your heart.

Guard me, Lord, from all forms of unfaithfulness.

Keep me from betraying You in my thoughts,

my words, or my actions.

Give me a sincere and faithful heart,

that I may love You above all things

and remain steadfast in times of temptation.

When I am weak, strengthen me.

When I am tempted, guide me.

When I fall, lift me up with Your mercy.

Help me to choose You each day

and to walk with You on the path of the Cross,

trusting in Your love and salvation.
