Saint Thomas was born in Galilee, a small town in Israel. When he first heard the story of Resurrection of Jesus, he questioned it, and this is how he earned the name “Doubting Thomas”. It was not that he didn’t believe in the miracles Jesus performed. He wanted to see the incidents himself in order to believe them. The story of his childhood portrayed here is purely fictional.
