MEDITATION

Mary – Grace in the Ordinary

✦ Mary’s childhood did not begin with worldly greatness. There were no crowds, no celebrations recorded in history, and no earthly recognition. Yet heaven was rejoicing over a child whom God had chosen for a unique mission.

✦ Mary reminds us that holiness does not require a spectacular life. God can make an ordinary home, an ordinary family, and ordinary moments places of extraordinary grace.

✦ Our kitchens, homes, workplaces, churches, and daily responsibilities can become places where God’s grace grows.

PRAYER:

Mother Mary, help me discover God in the ordinary moments of my life. May I live each day with humility, faith, and love. Amen.us to cherish every gift God places in our lives. Help us to trust His plan even when we cannot see where it will lead. Amen.
