Mary – A Life Prepared for God

Mary’s birth points toward a life completely surrendered to God. Her “yes” at the Annunciation did not happen suddenly; it was the fruit of a heart prepared for God.

Every day of our lives can also be a preparation for saying “yes” to God. Through prayer, forgiveness, sacrifice, and love, God prepares our hearts for His purposes.

The question is not only, “What does God want me to do?” but also, “Am I preparing my heart to say yes?”

Mary, teach me to prepare my heart for God every day. May my thoughts, words, and actions become a humble “yes” to His will. Amen.
