MEDITATION

Mary – The Fruit of Prayer

✦ The tradition of the Church remembers Joachim and Anna as parents who trusted God amid their longing for a child. The birth of Mary reminds us of the mysterious power of prayer and patient trust.

✦ Sometimes we pray and wonder why God is silent. Sometimes the answer comes later than we expect. But God is never absent from our story.

✦ Mary’s nativity invites us to remain faithful in prayer. What God prepares in silence can become a blessing far greater than we imagined.

PRAYER:

Lord, teach me to wait with faith and to pray with perseverance. Through the intercession of St. Joachim and St. Anna, strengthen every family that waits and hopes. Amen.
