A 30-Day Prayer to Saint Joseph
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O glorious Patriarch, Saint Joseph, whose power makes the impossible possible, come to my aid in these times of anxiety and difficulty.
Take under your protection the important and difficult situations which I entrust to you, that they may have a happy outcome.
My beloved father, all my confidence is in you. Let it not be said that I invoked you in vain, and since you can do all things with Jesus and Mary, show me that your goodness is as great as your power.
Saint Joseph, to whom God entrusted the care of the Holy Family, pray for us.
Prayer for the Protection of the Holy Cloak
O Saint Joseph, I place myself under the powerful protection of your holy cloak.
Cover me with the mantle of your fatherly love and protect me from every danger, evil, temptation, and misfortune.
As you protected Jesus and Mary in Nazareth, protect me and those whom I love.
Keep us safe in body and soul. Guide us in times of uncertainty. Strengthen us in times of suffering. Comfort us in sorrow and lead us always closer to Jesus.
O loving Saint Joseph, spread over us the folds of your holy cloak.
May your cloak be:
- A shield against the attacks of evil;
- A protection in times of danger;
- A refuge in moments of fear;
- A source of strength in times of weakness;
- A consolation in sorrow;
- A guide in times of confusion;
- And a reminder of your loving fatherly care.
Under the protection of your holy cloak, may we live faithfully, die peacefully, and be welcomed into the eternal presence of God.

Daily Prayer
O glorious Saint Joseph, faithful guardian of Jesus and chaste spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I come to you today with confidence.
You know my needs, my struggles, my worries, and the intentions that I carry in my heart.
I place before you especially this intention:

O good Saint Joseph, if this petition is for my spiritual good and according to the will of God, obtain for me the grace to accept God’s holy will and the strength to follow wherever He leads me.
Teach me your silence, humility, obedience, purity, patience, and trust in Divine Providence.
Help me to work faithfully, love generously, forgive sincerely, and live a holy life.
Protect my family, my home, my work, and all those entrusted to my care.
As you held the Child Jesus in your arms, hold me close to the loving Heart of Jesus.
As you cared for Mary with tenderness and faithfulness, teach me to honour and imitate her.
O Saint Joseph, never abandon me. At the hour of my death, be near me and lead me safely to Jesus and Mary.

Invocation to Saint Joseph
Remember, O most pure spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, my great and loving protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession without being consoled.
Trusting therefore in your goodness and power before Jesus and Mary, I come to you with confidence.
Do not abandon me, O foster father of the Redeemer, but graciously hear and obtain for me the grace I ask of you.
Saint Joseph, pray for us. Amen.
Closing Prayer
O blessed Saint Joseph, loving father and faithful protector, I thank God for the gift of your life and for your powerful intercession.
May your holy cloak always cover me and my family.
Protect us from sin and evil. Keep us united in love. Help us to trust in God during difficult times and to remain faithful to Him in every circumstance.
May Jesus, Mary, and Joseph reign in our hearts and homes.
And when our earthly journey is complete, may we have the joy of joining the Holy Family in the eternal home of heaven.

How to Pray the Holy Cloak Devotion
Traditionally, this devotion is prayed for 30 consecutive days. Each day:
- Make the Sign of the Cross.
- State your special intention.
- Pray the Prayer for the Protection of the Holy Cloak.
- Pray the Daily Prayer.
- Pray the Invocation to Saint Joseph.
- Conclude with the Closing Prayer.
- End with: “Saint Joseph, pray for us. Amen.”
