We can never be good enough tobe righteous before God. This is the truth. No amount of goodness we do can really blot away our sins before God. Not even when we pray and go to church everyday. Only God can wash away our sins and only God can render us guiltless. “as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one;” – Romans 3:10. Because none of us is righteous, our goodness becomes like a filthy rag to God. “We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.” – Isaiah 64:6.
