With great sorrow we inform you the death of Fr. Dr. John Edappilly CMI(77). He died this evening at Carmel Bhavan, Chalakudy due to cardiac arrest, He was the superior of Carmel Bhavan till his death. He was director of Chetana Institutions Thrissur for 10 years( 1990-2000). His death is big loss to Chetana, Church and media world. He had doctorate in Media studies from USA. He gave a big start to Chetana Institutions with his vision of Sapta Chetana. His a pioneer in media education and his contribution to media education was remarkable. As a Wonderful Global media person, musician, Composer, Orator and great organiser he gave marvellous innings to the society. Please for pray for him. His funeral will be conducted at Carmel Monastery Chalakudy at 2 pm Sunday 21st Nov. May our Lord give him eternal rest.
